Untitled by Samuel Colbran

A poem for ANZAC day, to remember my family who fought in the Great Wars.

It is Dawn,

The Bugle sounds,

Heads bowed,

But not in sadness; in remembrance.

Young lads and lassies,

Who marched off to war.

Indigenous or Anglo,

Pride rises,

Family all.

A moment of silence,

A day to remember,

Lest we forget.
